My sister-in-law Luana is part of a church drama team that will be performing a Valentine Dessert Theatre on Valentine's Day. How fun is that! She tells us the program will be presented as a 1940s radio play with comedy sketches, door prizes and lots and lots of desserts. It's a family-friendly event so we can bring the kids. And it's totally free!
My birthday is this week (February 9) and I've always enjoyed having my birthday close to Valentine's week. Stores are filled with cute Valentine gifts like stuffed animals, boxes of chocolates in heart-shaped boxes, and pink coffee mugs that say "Be My Valentine." Here's hoping all of you have a blessed and happy Valentine's Day!
