Do you like green eggs and ham? I do not like them, Sam-I-am
Would you like them here or there?
I would not like them anywhere
I do not like green eggs and ham
I do not like them, Sam-I-am
That's right! This week we celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday! Theodore Seuss Geisel was born March 2, 1904 in Springfield, Massachusetts. He attended Dartmouth and Oxford, and eventually became a cartoonist. His first children's book was "And to Think That I Saw it on Mulberry Street" (1937).
His other books include "The Cat in the Hat," "Green Eggs and Ham," "Fox in Sox," and "How the Grinch Stole Christmas." During his illustrious career, Dr. Seuss received two Academy Awards, two Emmy Awards, a Peabody Award and the Pulitzer Prize.
Honor Dr. Seuss this week by going to the library and reading one of his books!

Every Who down in Who-ville like Christmas a lot...
But the Grinch, who lived just north of Who-ville, did not!
The Grinch hated Christmas! The whole Christmas season!
Now, please don't ask why. No one quite knows the reason.
