As you all know, the Winter Games are taking place in Vancouver as we speak and athletes around the world are strutting their stuff. Personally, my favorite events are figure skating, speed skating, ski jumping and biathlon. Here are nation standings as of today (February 21):
USA (24 medals)
Germany (16 medals)
Norway (12 medals)
South Korea (9 medals)
Canada, Austria and France (8 medals each)
Switzerland and Russia (7 medals each),
Sweden (6 medals)
China (5 medals)
Netherlands, Poland and Italy (4 medals each)
Slovakia and Japan (3 medals each)
Australia, Czech Republic, Latvia, Belarus, Croatia and Slovenia (2 medals each)
Great Britain, Estonia, Finland and Kazakhstan (1 medal each)
All we need now is a Jamaican bob sled team!
Regards,
Carly
How many ski instructors does it take to screw in a light bulb?
Nine. One to screw in the light bulb and eight to say "Nice turns!"
