I'm a huge fan of the Discovery Channel and this time of year I'm reminded of the creatures of the winter. Did you know:
All polar bears are left-handed

The Arctic hare can run up to 40 miles per hour

The Arctic wolf can survive up to five months in absolute darkness

The Arctic fox can locate prey under the snow

The walrus has only two natural predators: the killer whale and the polar bear

When a mother penguin loses a chick, she attempts to steal another mother's chick

Leopard seals are the only seals that prey on other seal species
