Boo!

It's Halloween and the spooks are out and about. When I was a kid, I loved dressing up in costumes and going trick-or-treating. Sometimes I was a gypsy with a long flowing skirt, a silky bandanna and layers of beads and clunky bracelets. I would have carried a crystal ball if I'd had one. Other times we'd get one of Mom's old sheets, cut some eye holes in it and become ghosts. But my favorite costume was the witch. Mom liked to sew and was delighted to make my authentic witch costume, complete with pointed black hat. I'd carry a broom and my bag for treats, and with a wicked cackle, I'd be out the door to get my treats.

Black is the color of Halloween, so take a look at my classic Black Jasper with Charcoal Pendant at my online store:

Carly

What do you call a witch who lives at the beach?
A sandwitch
