Pass the French Fries!

One of the craziest euphemisms in recent years was "freedom fries." Let me refresh your memory. Back in 2003 when the United States wanted to launch an attack against Iraq, the international debate became quite heated. France was, like, totally against it. But "conservative" Americans thought G.W. was doing the right thing. They were upset with France's position and decided to boycott French products and businesses.

Thus "French" fries became "Freedom" fries.

I don't have "French fries" earrings, but you can celebrate Independence Day with my American Flag Balls Earrings at my online store: http://www.dragontalesjewelry.vstore.ca/

Regards,
Carly

What kind of tea did the American colonists thirst for?
Liberty.
