Superday in Cheyenne

Saturday was Superday in Cheyenne. It happens only once a year on the last Saturday in June and takes place at Lion's Park. The whole town gathers for a fun, festive day.

Superday features an autoshow, dancers, martial arts demonstrations, acrobats, a children's carnival, musicians, artists and vendors selling everything from t-shirts to teddy bears.

Everywhere you go people are walking their dogs, herding children, eating cotton candy, getting airbrushed tattoos, dropping firefighters in a dunk tank, winning prizes or drinking lemon lime slushees.

My Dragon Tales Jewelry display was attracting quite a crowd. People stopped to admire my majestic dragon figurines and handcrafted jewelry. The whole family was with me in the booth, including hubby who had his hands full watching the boys. And when my sister-in-law dropped by with her teenage granddaughter, it became a joyous family affair.

There was something for everyone. Many dragons found a home and happy customers walked away with lovely jewelry and homemade candles.

Regards,
Carly
